Nebraska Cornhuskers Running Back Ameer Abdullah spoke in front of the media, fans and his peers this afternoon at the Big Ten Media Days Kickoff Luncheon at the Hilton Chicago.

Abdullah, a Senior From Homewood HS in Homewood, Alabama, was picked by the Big Ten Conference to give the speech.

Abdullah, who has played a vital role in both the Nebraska Offense and in Special Teams in the previous three seasons, is listed on the Walter Camp, Hornung and Doak Walker preseason watch lists for the '14 season.

Abdullah comes into his final campaign with a outside chance to catch the all-time Husker Rushing mark, held by Heisman Trophy winner Mike Rozier. Rozier went for 4,780 yards in his Nebraska career. Abdullah, sitting at 2,977 yards, would need 1,803 yards in his SR year to surpass Rozier. Last season, Abdullah went for 1690 yards and  9 touchdowns in 13 starts.
