Football: DeAndre Wills Leaves Nebraska Football Team

The DL from Lineville, Alabama has left his Nebraska Football career before it even started

Corn Nation and Huskers Illustrated has learned that incoming Freshman Defensive End DeAndre Wills has left the Nebraska Cornhuskers Football team.

Wills, who chose the Huskers over Clemson, Ole Miss and Vanderbilt, left for personal reasons, per Mike Schaefer of 247 sports.

Wills, a three star Defensive End/Tight End from Clay Central HS in Lineville, Alabama , had a 247 rating of .081 and committed to Nebraska 3 days before National Signing Day last year. Lincoln was his only official visit.

Wills was one of four listed Defensive Ends in their Freshman year of eligibility with AJ Natter, Sedrick King and Mick Stoltenberg. All four would have pushed for time either behind Randy Gregory or Joe Keels and Greg McMullen on the opposite side of the field.

This will leave Nebraska with 6 scholarship Defensive Ends and 10 overall when Fall Camp opens at the beginning of August. The Huskers have 2 verbal DE's in the 2015 class in Daishon Neal and Carlos Davis.
