In preparation for Big Red Weekend these coming next 2 weekends (which, of course, we'll have coverage of on CN), SBNation's Bud Elliott, who is one of the best guys when it comes to getting all of us free recruiting news and info, went to the Nike NFTC event in Columbus, Ohio this weekend.
When he was there, he got a couple of bits that should be of interest to Husker fans.
First off, Husker RB verbal Kendall Bussey, who has shot up the rankings by any measure of service you go by, was in Columbus also. Here's the footage Bud got, with Kendall doing some action on the hurdles.

Bussey, who was in Columbus trying to get a invite to The Opening by Nike in Oregon this summer.
Word is that LSU, even with their verbal of Derrius Guice, is still kinda sorta interested in Bussey. Arkansas has come visiting in the last couple of weeks, and would be the only true school at this time to worry Nebraska. However, it seems that Bussey is solid to the Cornhuskers.
The second update is that of Nebraska Safety target Hunter Dale. Dale, who has been in the eye of Husker coaches for a while, talked to Bud about his recruitment and what's in the future for his decision making process.
To be honest, it sounds like the ship may have sailed on Dale if he is truly pushing for that Ohio State offer. His 247 Crystal Ball pushes towards Florida, but Nebraska is in there, although not as much. If Nebraska can get that last visit instead of tOSU, then the Huskers could nab this one. However, it could come at a time where because of that low target number for Nebraska, there may not be room anymore.
We will get to the first of two Big Red Weekend's for Nebraska's Football Recruiting later this week. It's a great thought that the Huskers may be able to fill their class by the 4th of July this year.
