Recruiting: Shreveport Corner Kieron Williams Commits To The Huskers

A surprise commitment comes on this Friday afternoon.

This wasn't expected, I tell you.

Keiron Williams, who last year committed to Air Force and was originally to enroll at the Air Force Academy Prep School, has committed to the Nebraska Cornhuskers, per Nate Clouse of Rivals.

Williams, who last year picked Air Force when he came out of HS in Shreveport, Louisiana, is a three-star Defensive Back. He was the 62nd best player in Louisiana last year and was the 151st best Cornerback in America, according to 247 sports.

Obviously, Williams was committed to Charlton Warren last year as Warren was still with Air Force. As some have pointed out already, Williams will be eligible to be on the '14 cycle, so he's going to be here this fall for Nebraska. This takes the spot of Larenzo Stewart, as he will be going to Iowa Western Community College after not qualifying to make it to Lincoln.

Nebraska still has 11 verbal commitments for their 2015 recruiting cycle. They are currently ranked 15th nationally, while still remaining 2nd in the Big Ten according to 247 sports.
