It's the matchup we've been waiting for: Nebraska vs. Indiana, with the Big Ten baseball championship trophy on the line. On the field, Indiana is the home team. This is the first game between Nebraska and Indiana since last year's Big Ten Championship, which Indiana won 4-3 with a walkoff single in the bottom of the ninth. Nebraska head coach Darin Erstad noted the circumstances of this game in his postgame comments after Nebraska beat Michigan 6-1 on Saturday.
"Very exciting and weird to be facing an opponent we haven't faced yet."
