Big Ten Baseball Championship Gamethread: Huskers vs. Indiana

It's the matchup we've been waiting for:  Nebraska vs. Indiana, with the Big Ten baseball championship trophy on the line. On the field, Indiana is the home team.  In the stands at TD Ameritrade Park, Husker fans are taking over the entire ballpark.  Here's what it looks like, with just under an hour before first pitch.

The third level isn't open... yet.  But it looks like we're heading for a crowd of 18,000 to 20,000 at this point.  Yep...this is B1G.

Hoosiers: Sullivan Stadler (2-1, 2.92 ERA)

This is the first game between Nebraska and Indiana since last year's Big Ten Championship, which Indiana won 4-3 with a walkoff single in the bottom of the ninth. Nebraska head coach Darin Erstad noted the circumstances of this game in his postgame comments after Nebraska beat Michigan 6-1 on Saturday.


"Very exciting and weird to be facing an opponent we haven't faced yet."
