Nebraska baseball's RPI rose to 27 after the series win and #2 finish in the Big Ten. The baseball polls haven't updated for this week yet, but I'm guessing on Monday you'll see the Huskers rising in the polls. They are a lock for the NCAA tourney now, and where they get seeded will be dependent on the amount of damage they can do in the Big Ten baseball tourney.
The other big story over the weekend was Nebraska softball's amazing run through their NCAA regional.
Huskers Win NCAA Regional Title - Huskers.com - Nebraska Athletics Official Web Site
The 19th-ranked Nebraska softball team capped an incredible run to the NCAA Columbia Regional title by beating 15th-seeded Missouri for a second straight game Sunday afternoon, 8-1.
The softball team lost earlier to Kansas and had to fight their way back through the loser's bracket, meaning they had to beat Missouri twice in a row to win the regional. They won the first game 11-4, the second 8-1, so you're looking at two games in a row where they not only won, but kicked some ass.
The Huskers hit seven home runs in those two games, including four two-run homers by Hailey Decker, who had one of the most amazing weekends by any athlete in Husker history. She had five home runs in two days, a two-day span in which the Huskers won four games to win the regional.

AT&T buys DirecTV for $48.5 billion
I don't have DirecTV. I have Dish, as many of you know, but I would guess that this will have implications for Dish customers down the line. I don't pretend to know all the ins and outs about what's happening with cable TV, satellite TV, and internet options for collegiate sports, but at some point this bubble will burst and these companies will get stuck with billions in assets that won't pay off.
