Recruiting: Aaron Williams, DB From Atlanta, Commits To Nebraska

The Huskers get their 11th commitment on Thursday afternoon.

Before you indulge in Husker Baseball, how about a little fireworks?

The #BOOM that Charlton is speaking of is the commitment of Carver HS Defensive Back Aaron Williams this afternoon.

Williams, a 5' 11' 180 pound DB from the Atlanta area, is a three star prospect that scores a .88 on the 247 composite marking. He held offers from Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana and Ole Miss. However, Charlton Warren did his work on this one and once the visit was over back in April, it was just a matter of time for Nebraska to get his services.

Williams is the 34th best Safety prospect in the class, according to 247. They also rank him as the 47th best overall player to come out of the state of Georgia.

With this commitment, the Huskers and their 11 verbals are now 11th in America acc. to 247, while keeping their lock on #2 overall in the B1G behind Penn State.
