The Huskers have one road game this week, as yesterday's final season tilt with the Creighton Bluejays was pushed back till May 13th due to weather issues. So, tonight brings you the next to last non-conference game for the Nebraska Baseball team (28-17 overall, 10-5 B1G) as they travel up Interstate 80 to take on Nebraska-Omaha (21-16 overall, 5-3 Summit League).

- This will be the first time Nebraska has ever played at Werner Park, the Triple A home of the Kansas City Royals.
- Nebraska holds a 50-10 overall series record vs. UNO. They met once this season already at Hawks Field, with the Huskers winning that game 17-6 on April 16th.
- Nebraska is 4-4 in true non-conference road games this year, only hitting .265 while giving up a. 288 opposing batting average.
- According to Aaron Fitt of Baseball America, Nebraska is in the NCAA Tournament for now, but need a big finish in their last 3 Big Ten series, plus the Tournament. Fitt mentions a very reachable target for Nebraska as far as number of games to be won.
