We all in the recruiting world thought that the #BOOM's would wait till after Nebraska's Spring Game on Saturday. And we, of course, were proven wrong. Two Omaha Central kids decided to pull the trigger Wednesday.
Congratulations to Omaha North Viking Michael Decker. He's a Husker.

Michael Decker, a 6'4" 280 pound Offensive Guard from Omaha North HS committed to the Huskers in the early evening on Wednesday.
Decker, who hadn't gone to many schools and only had 2 offers, looks to be one of the top in-state recruits this year. His Hudl highlights from his Sophomore year are right here for you all.
The second commitment happened pretty quickly.
I announce my commitment to Nebraska! Blessed🙏🙌! #FutureHusker🌽

Daishon Neal, a 6'8". 240 pound Defensive End out of Omaha Central HS committed to the Huskers later on in the evening. Neal, who on his twitter showed he literally committed within the hour that he got his offer. While he had more offers than Decker, Nebraska was clearly his highest ranked offer at the moment. However, word on the street were that BCS schools were interested and Nebraska clearly influenced him to pull the trigger ASAP.
(thanks Scout)
With the two commits on Wednesday, the Huskers now have 9 commitments, which is good for second in the B1G to Penn State, and 8th overall in America according to 247 sports. This cycle is definitely starting off as well as the Nebraska coaching staff could possibly imagined.
