Per this report by Gina Mizell of the Oregonian, another member of the Oregon State staff will be following Mike Riley to take a job with the Nebraska Cornhuskers.

Dan Van De Riet, who had been the Associate Athletic Director of Football Operations for Oregon State since the beginning of last season, will be hired by Riley.

Van De Riet, who joined Oregon State back in 2001, has been involved with Football Operations ever since he arrived in Corvallis. He was promoted to Director of Football Operations back in 2008.

In Corvallis, Van De Riet was responsible for all behind the scenes detals for Oregon State Football. He took care of things like the day-to-day operations, budget management, travel arrangements and bowl game coordinator.

If he comes to Lincoln in the same detail, he will be the man who would replace Jeff Jamrog, who had been the Director of Football Operations for Nebraska since former Head Coach Bo Pelini took the job.

If Van De Riet is indeed taking over for Jamrog, he will be the main cog in the Walk-On recruitment program, something that Jamrog seemed to find a niche and do well in for the Huskers.
