First thing I saw this morning as I fired up tweetdeck to see what stupid ass rumor we can take advantage of today, and it reminded me that there are people who really think we should have named a head coach by now.

Ever do a job interview (or three or five interviews as it goes these days) and think they're going to call you within the next couple of hours and offer you the job? The next day? The day after that? And they don't?

Then two weeks later they do....  because that's how things work. Everything takes time, and organizations don't make decisions because you want them to. I's to dot, T's to cross. HR and lawyers, some of whom bill by the hour. Policies to follow.

I don't mean to pick on Debra specifically because there there are craploads of these types of tweets out there. What did everyone expect? How quickly did you really REALLY think they'd name a new head coach?
