So, there you are, sitting at Cheddar's on a Tuesday early evening. You're looking at twitter while your wife and friend chatter about female stuff. Then you saw this...

Wait... that hashtag. From the HEAD COACH EVEN. What does that even mean? Well, for the Nebraska Cornhuskers, they did indeed get better today.

Matt Snyder, a 6' 5". 245 pound Tight End out of California HS in San Ramon, CA, commits to Nebraska as he flips from Oregon State.

Snyder, a mid-level 3 star recruit, is the nation's 17th best Tight End recruit this cycle according to 247 sports. He is also the 66th best player available in California this cycle as well.

With the release of Greg Hart and the possibility of Freedom Akinmoladun moving over to Defensive End, this was considered a need for Nebraska, even in this size of a class.

Besides Nebraska and Oregon State, Snyder had offers from Cal, Colorado State, Fresno State and Nevada among other schools. Bruce Read was the lead on his recruitment.

With this verbal, Nebraska is now 36th in the 247 National Recruiting Rankings, while being 5th still in the Big Ten onference. This also brings Nebraska to 14 spots, with about 6 spots available.
