Corn Flakes: The Big 12 Gets Stomped

David Manning-USA TODAY Sports

Three bowl games yesterday, all three featuring Big 12 teams, and not only does the conference go 0-3, but our old conference buddies Oklahoma and Texas get the crapped stomped out of them.

I don't have an ax to grind here, even with regards to Texas - I just wanted to see some good football.

I expected an Oklahoma - Clemson game worth watching, but the Sooners couldn't be bothered to show up.

I expected Texas to fight a little harder than they did, but Shawn Watson's offense could must only 59 yards of offense. The Longhorns rushed 18 times for two yards for an average of .1 yard per carry. You could fall forward running a quarterback sneak on every play and do better than that.

And you hated Tim Beck.
