Your Tressel in Lincoln stories are now invalid. At least, for the time being.

According to this report by FootballScoop.com, Nebraska Cornhuskers Athletic Director Shawn Eichorst has his target in Arkansas Razorbacks Head Coach Bret Bielema as the next HC for Husker Football, as they are in "serious talks".

Bielema, 44, has been at Arkansas for 2 seasons after leaving Wisconsin where he was the HC for 7 seasons, from 2006-12.

His last game for Wisconsin, famously, was the 2012 Big Ten Championship game where the Badgers took Bo Pelini's Huskers behind the woodshed by the score of 70-31.

Bret has a career record of 77-39, with a current record of 9-15 in Arkasnas. He had a record of 68-24 with the Badgers, winning three straight Big Ten Championships.

This is a developing story. Stay with CN for further updates.
