There had been a lot of smoke abound about the future of some of the Nebraska Cornhuskers assistants after Bo Pelini was dismissed and the realization that all of them would stay on for the National University Holiday Bowl on December 27th.
We found out about Charlton Warren yesterday and Bo Pelini today. Now, we also know where the two Offensive Linemen coaches will end up.

Interim Head Coach Barney Cotton and Offensive Line coach John Garrison will join the staff at UNLV and new HC Tony Sanchez, who was announced back on December 11th.
The move makes sense, as Sanchez was the HC of Bishop Gorman HS in Vegas, and Barney and Garrison were active in recruiting the area. Nebraska has Nick Gates and was hoping to land Jackson Perry from Gorman.
Cotton, who was named the Interim HC the day Bo Pelini was dismissed on November 30th, was the Run Game Coordinator/Associate HC/TE Coach for the Huskers. He was in his eighth total season with Nebraska, and was a Guard for Tom Osborne from 1975 to 1978. He spent one season as Offensive Coordinator for Nebraska in 2003, then moved on to Iowa State where he spent 3 years as OC. Cotton does have one son left on the squad, tight end Sam Cotton.
Garrison, who played for Nebraska from 1999-2002, was in his fourth year on the actual Nebraska staff, spending seven years total when you add in being a intern.
