It wasn't necessarilly the prettiest basketball game to watch, but for the Huskers, losers of two straight coming in, beauty was beheld. Games like these are known around basketball circles as rockfests. Neither team shot the ball very well, partly a product of the defense played on both parts, partly due to neither team being overly good offensively.

After leading most of the game, the Huskers gave up the lead only to claw back and get the game into over time. And then another. The Huskers came away with the win on Benny Parker's running floater in the lane with 1:14 left in the second overtime period. Parkers bucket were the final points scored in the 56-55 Husker win.

The Huskers pushed their record to 6-3 and have 10 days before they head to Hawaii and the Diamondhead Classic as they will take on Hawaii in the first game of the tournament in the early morning hours of Dec. 23.

We had our photographer on hand for all the excitement of last night's game. Enjoy!
