The two players will be reunited with Vince Marrow.

Vince Marrow and the Kentucky Wildcats strike the Nebraska Cornhuskers Football program again.

While it had been rumored for a while, it was confirmed today that Tight End Greg Hart and Linebacker Courtney Love will be leaving the Husker football program and heading to Lexington to become members of the Wildcats.

Hart has already left the team, while Love will be stay on the roster for the Huskers and then move on to Kentucky.

Greg Hart, who was recruited as a mid-3 star out of Dayton, Ohio, was on the roster for two seasons for Nebraska yet never played a snap in a game. Cethan Carter, Trey Foster and Sam Cotton was all ahead of Hart on the depth chart. Between the 3 players in front of them, the TE spot sported a grand total of 8 catches. One would say that Hart would have a chance under new HC Mike Riley's offense, but this was also in motion before former HC Bo Pelini's dismissal.

Courtney Love, who was recruited out of Cardinal Mooney HS in Youngstown, Ohio, was a high-3 star LB who chose Nebraska over Illinois, Indiana, and Michigan State amongst others. He had 6 total tackles for the Huskers this year.

Both players are redshirt Freshmen, which means they will have 2 seasons remaining for the Wildcats after NCAA transfer rules. This marks the third player to transfer to Kentucky from Nebraska since former GA Vince Marrow joined the Wildcats coaching staff. Braylon Heard, who transferred after the 2012 season.

With the loss of Love and Hart, there's a interesting tidbit about the current Nebraska roster:

UPDATE: Sounds like Love is completely done with Nebraska now.
