Happy Thanksgiving From Corn Nation!!!

This was the only photo I found in our stuff that was tagged "love". We have some work to do.

We continue to grow. We continue to be a place where Husker fans can discuss the team they love.

I know this football season has been rough. The team hasn't fulfilled what our egos required, and that is sad. (I know that sounds snarky, but if you're ever around me in person, I'm that guy that no matter what I say, it sounds like sarcasm. Imagine that when I try to tell someone I love them and yet I've been married for 25 years. Mrs CN is either very patient or very dumb.)

I could post this, where I proposed us hiring gin as the next Nebraska coach:

This Week In Schadenfreude: Frank Beamer can't win - SBNation.com
In more ways than you think, which is really so much sadder somehow!

or this:

Jay Foreman talks Nebraska football and more
The one thing I’ll say, if those guys love coach Pelini like they say they do, they won’t lose.

or this excellent article:

A Football Martyr: In 1923, African-American lineman Jack Trice was killed in his second game for Iowa State. Decades later, he's become a football legend while the circumstances of his death remain a mystery. - SBNation.com

BUT MOSTLY

I want to wish for you that your today is full of the same old shit it always is on the holidays - dealing with family arguments that you've never resolved over the past 20 years, and the usual stuff of politics and religion. But not Husker football.

When you're young you want to change the world. When you're older, you realize this is impossible, and you just want to change your family. The older you get, the more it pisses you off.

Remember that bit about forgiveness?

The easiest way to change your family is just to love them. Could be that applies to the world, too. Who knows until you try.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING YOU BUNCH OF F*CKS

(because people somehow feel better if I don't actually spell f*cks).
