Nebraska Women's Basketball Dows Utah: Gallery

In case you haven't noticed, Coach Connie Yori has put together a pretty good squad. Again. The #15 Huskers dispatched of the Utah Utes in their old digs. The Nebraska women's basketball team, led by Emily Cady and her career high 25 points defeated Utah 66-43.

Utah never really posed much of a challenge to the Huskers, who raced out to a 17-3 lead and never looked back. Kicked out of their usual home, Pinnacle Bank Arena, while Disney on Ice is in town, Yori's team used their trademark pressure defense and aggressive offense to wear down the Utes.

The Huskers also welcomed back the 1988 team, the first to ever win a conference title in program history and wore throwback uniforms to celebrate the occasion.

With the win, the Huskers moved to 4-0 on the season and head to Los Angeles to take on the UCLA Bruins in Pauley Pavilion on Friday. Tip off will be at 3:00 pm and will be televised on the Pac 12 Network.
