Alright folks. Time to rip off the bandage and turn on the TV to watch some football again. Tonight features a highly ranked Kansas State team facing the West Virginia Mountaineers in a Big 12 tilt. Sorry, it still feels weird to say that WVU is in the Big 12. Anyway, KSU needs help (a TCU loss) to stay in the conference title race, but a win tonight would keep them tied in the standings with the Horned Frogs. Snyder's crew should win this one, but strange things happen in conference games in November....like giving up more yards to a running back than any team has ever done before, ever. Not, that I'm living in the past or anything.
Friday. Air Force. 'Murica.
On Saturday there are a few ranked-vs-ranked games. Nebraska and Minnesota headlines the 11 am kickoffs. We get to learn our fate early. A win means relief. A loss means Husker fans might make Harvey Updyke mug shots look professional. The early afternoon game is Arizona-Utah. Both teams still have a chance to win the PAC 12 South, so this game should be hard fought with a good passing attack (Wildcats) versus a good rushing attack (Utes). Should the Huskers lose, stay off the roads, watch this game, and pick the coach you will vote for in the inevitable "who should replace Bo Pelini poll?".
As for the evening games...no point in previewing them. Win or lose, Husker fans will be either in jail, passed out, both, or in church by that time anyway. Yes, I am just a ball of #teamsunshine this week after both the Huskers and Broncos lost. Deal with it.
