While it might have been sloppy, Nebraska won the game by the easy margin of 21 points. Take away the last touchdown after the Boilermakers chose to go for it on fourth and fail, and... well, you don't get to do that. The defense earned that touchdown, dammit. While it wasn't a complete game, the Husker defense performed very well.
Forget that Purdue out-yarded Nebraska, that was largely due to the Huskers great field position and an offense that sputtered for most of the game.
