Its not very often that I get to start my article with a quote from the late, great Tupac Shakur...
"It's time for us as a people to make a change, lets change the way we eat, lets change the way we live and lets change the way we treat each other. You see the old way wasn't working so it's on us to do what we gotta do, to survive... We can't keep losing to Wisconsin who is mediocre at best, or Iowa, or Northwestern... Hey Suge what are you doing with that gun?"
Okay, so maybe I paraphrased that last sentence...errrr made it up. Chances are Tupac was a SC fan anyways but we all can agree that Suge probably killed him. I saw Suge Knight at a bar in Malibu once and the air in the bar got very, very cold and I heard demons coming from the evil pores of this frightening man. True Story.
So whats my point? I don't have one really, except I hate feeling like this. Am I a loser, who needs to get a life and quit putting my dreams and aspirations on the backs of 21 year olds. Yes, definitely. I also need to quit eat candy bars for breakfast and smoking cigarettes when I'm drunk. I need to do a lot of things that I won't end up doing.
So now that I've admitted my flaws lets look at someone else's flaws. The problem is whose flaws are we looking at? Even Abdullah didn't save the day or actually look good. Nor did Gregory. What about Bo? What about Papuchis? Beck? Ganz? Armstrong? Cotton? Long? Gerry? Bell? The list could go on and on.
Thats the problem I have, I'm not sure whose fault it is. It surely can't be everyones... Can it?
I miss Taylor Martinez. He made an easy scapegoat.
In this episode we tried something different. We decided to live cast the game. Its a decision I regret. Do you want to hear what it sounds like when Joe, Bob and myself lose perspective on life? Then start listening at about the hour 30 mark. Maybe the 2 hour mark. Do you want to relive the pain from the beginning? Be my guest.
I may never feel love again. its so cold here, so, so cold.
