Ryan Callahan of the Vols247 site first reported it, while Mike Schaefer of Nebraska's 247 has the story for Husker fans here.

Rumblings around the network today is that Nebraska will likely be receiving a de-commitment from running back Kendall Bussey. I spoke with GoVols writer Ryan Callahan and the two of us compared what we had heard from various sources and it looks like the Bussey family will soon pursue opportunities elsewhere.

It's unclear how soon this will happen or if there will be a formal de-commitment before a potential commitment elsewhere. Nebraska is in a bit of a bind, because it honored its word to Bussey and had stopped actively pursuing running backs. If this move happens, it'll be interesting to see if Nebraska feels a need to move toward another running back in the class or if it feels comfortable with the room that it has coming back for 2015.

Kendall Bussey is a 5' 8", 192 lb three-star running back out of Newman High School in New Orleans. He is the 30th best running back in the 2015 class, and considered the 16th best athlete out of Lousiana.

Bussey committed to Nebraska back on July 16th. Since then he has visited Arkansas and Tennessee unofficially. He was offered by Tennessee on October 28th, then visited Nebraska on November 2nd. He has had offers from Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt and was formerly committed to Tulane.

We'll continue to check around and will post what we know.
