As I said yesterday, there's a lot of fluidity in what's going on with Nebraska's final push to finish the 2014 cycle. Lets go over some updates.
- The first item is that Nebraska may have former Florida State verbal DE Blake McClain fall into their lap. Reading this from the FSU SBNation site Tomahawk Nation, it sounds like Blake was going to be asked to grayshirt in some fashion. There is some hope that Nebraska can use their inroads with Sandalwood HC Adam Geis, since they are in the mix for Desean Blair and already have Chris Jones as a verbal. Word on the street is that McClain is visiting with South Carolina before deciding if he's coming to Lincoln this weekend. If he does make a OV to Nebraska, chances are really high he verbals. Even though 247 is listing him as visiting, I'm not sold quite yet.
- The only truly confirmed visitor that I have seen right now is AJ Bush, who is a Dual Threat QB out of Norcorss, Georgia. He literally got the offer this morning.
Nebraska offered! #huskers!!! #blessed

This is not the first BCS offer for Bush, as he has offers from Cincinatti, Kansas State and Boston College. This does seem like a fallback in case the whisperings of Quinton Flowers getting one last push doesn't happen. As far as Jaquez Parks is concerned, he decided to stop waiting to see if Nebraska was going to offer and commit to Kennesaw State today.
- There is somewhat conflicting reports on East Carolina commit Markell Boston, who would be a good pick up at Safety/Corner. While one service is reporting an offer, two others are not. He should be visiting this weekend also, and if the Huskers like what they see, an offer and commitment will be coming.
- Elijah Lee, who was wow'ed with a Nebraska offer earlier this week, will not be visiting and looks 1000% solid to Kansas State.
We will keep you up to date with any #BOOM's and such we hear about this weekend!
