You can be upset about a few things about Nebraska's recruiting this cycle, but the fact is that the Huskers have done very well at the Offensive Line positions. That continued today with one large get.

Nick Gates, the top listed player in the entire state of Nevada who hails from Bishop Gorman HS in Las Vegas, has ended his long recruitment process and picked Nebraska.

Gates, who is a 4 star Offensive Tackle, grades out at at .8982 in the 247 system. He had a multitude of offers, but in the end, the Huskers beat out Oregon, Texas A&M and Arizona for his services.

It was reported that Bo Pelini joined John Garrison and Barney Cotton in a in-home visit to Gates on Monday, and that helped seal the deal today.

Gates is now the fifth 4-star player listed on Nebraska's recruiting class this year, joining fellow verbals Tanner FarmerPeyton NewellMonte Harrison and JUCO enrollee Joe Keels.

With this commitment, the Huskers stay 6th in the Big Ten ratings on 247, while moving up to 36th nationally on 247 also.
