CN Power Poll: Week 4

We've made it through non-conference play, though Wisconsin and Purdue jumped the gun and played each other last week. How do the Corn Nation writers think the Big Ten stacks up through week 4? Let's find out.

David McGee / CN

The biggest movers this week were Michigan State whose loss to Notre Dame dropped them from five to nine. Wisconsin gets first place votes for the first time this year, jumping both Michigan and Northwestern. The teams from Indiana are still bringing up the rear.

Team Prev Total
Ohio State (7) 1 105
Wisconsin (2) 4 97
Northwestern 2 89
Michigan 3 75
Nebraska 6 68
Penn State 7 66
Minnesota 8 55
Michigan State 5 51
Iowa 10 39
Illinois 9 27
Indiana 11 20
Purdue 12 10

Update:

Here's a graph depicting the change in the poll. It actually looks fairly consistent, except for a slight bump for Illinois. (YOU'RE WELCOME.)

Of course, I think that's boring. We need some excitement. Some crazy shifting.
