Nebraska leads South Dakota State 38-17 at the half after being behind 17-14 at the end of the first quarter.

The Huskers used backup quarterbacks Ron Kellogg III and Tommy Armstrong Jr in the first half. Both have 117 yards passing and a touchdown apiece. RK3 has gone 7/8. TA2 is 7/10. Ameer Abdullah has 14 carries for 97 yards, and a touchdown, while Imani Cross has five carries for 34 yards and to two touchdowns.

Tyler Wullenwaber earned his first touchdown reception of his career.

The offense has looked exceptional, scoring 24 points in the second quarter.

SDSU's Zach Zenner ran for 164 yards on 15 carries in the first half with two touchdowns. Quarterback Austin Sumner has gone 11-for-14 for 144 yards and an interception.

This is your second half thread. Use it wisely.

Make sure you mention:

- There IS a quarterback controversy.

- Tim Beck has effectively mixed the run and pass.

- There's a whole day left of football.
