The Nebraska Cornhuskers take on the South Dakota State Jackrabbits this afternoon. South Dakota State is ranked #7 in the Football Championship Subdivision and comes to Lincoln with a 3-0 record following a 34-26 victory over Southeastern Louisiana on Saturday. The Jackrabbits rallied from a 19-7 third-quarter deficit in last Saturday's win, and are ranked sixth in the FCS polls. SDSU reached the second round of the NCAA playoffs a year ago.
Nebraska comes into the game with a 2-1 record after losing to UCLA last week 41-21. Nebraska held a 21-3 lead, but was unable to sustain their offense in the second half, allowing UCLA to score 38 unanswered points. It's been a tumultuous week in Lincoln after a two-year old audio recording was released of head coach Bo Pelini cussing out Husker fans. Complete coverage here.
