- Inside the entrance to the locker room, players see the trophies earned by the legendary Huskers that preceeded them.
- The Big Red Waterfall in the lobby.
- The statue of Tom Osborne and Brook Berringer outside the entrance.
- The old weight room has been replaced by the new academic support center.
- Husker fans gathering near the fireplace in the academic support area.
- The new fieldturf. Yes, they've added cork...but there's plenty of black rubber tire pellets in the base.
- The new FieldTurf looks awesome at field level.
- East Stadium looks very imposing from field level. I can't wait until to hear how 90,000 Husker fans sound.
- Each weight station contains an electronic pad which tracks and guides their custom workout plan.
- All of these upgrades wouldn't be possible without that huge donation from Ndamukong Suh.
- Some people think Bo Pelini doesn't care for the Blackshirt tradtion. I'd say that's wrong, as you see references to the Blackshirts wherever you look inside North Stadium. The weight room was recently remodeled to add a warm-up area immediately adjacing the equipment.
- How many more days?
- Very imposing from street level.
- From the media level, the new turf doesn't look nearly as impressive.
- But that big red "N" hasn't looked better...
- More from deep inside West Stadium...just waiting for Nebraska's student athletes to return for another semester. Quite impressive what Nebraska has built to help the student athlete succeed.
