From Friday, here's Mike's story on how Nebraska is attempting to revolutionize the concussion test on sidelines of football fields worldwide. It seems like the NCAA has been the slowest of the three main levels of football (NFL, High School) when it comes to addressing these head injuries. Lets hope people like the NFL notice this and consider looking at what data comes off of this.

Husker RB Ameer Abdullah was named to the Hornung Award watch list on Friday. I really don't care about watch lists, I mean, it's good press and that's it. However, If he stays healthy, there's a good chance he could very well become a finalist come December.

As we stated above, the 2013 All-Star rosters came out. The biggest snub was the fact that Dodgers OF Yasiel Puig got put in that stupid "Final Vote" thing. You have other justifiable snubs, but Puig's is criminal. Then again, it may be that ploy to get folks to vote, who knows.
