Good Monday morning. Another weekend through to the football season. By this time next week, we will have camp and other news for you available. Otherwise, lets get to today's goods!
From CN this weekend, Mike wondered about whether Nebraska would or should play on Black Friday anymore. while Salt read this on Off Tackle Empire and fired some salvo's back.
Former Husker Eric Martin is turning heads at New Orleans Saints camp. Meanwhile former TE Kyler Reed was released by Jacksonville.
Do you know what Hurrdat is? Well, it's the creation of former Husker football players AdI Kunalic and Blake Lawrence. Read about it here.
Tom Shatel brings up some good points, and some monotonous ones, in this piece at the OWH. Meanwhile, Dirk Chatelain talks about Kain Colter's struggles with money and how a stipend may help him at Northwestern.
A couple of pieces from the Journal Star this morning; Brian Christopherson with the kicking storylines going into camp, while Steve Sipple talks about Ciante Evans being a captain and what that means to him. ($)
Maize n Brew's SpaceCoyote did a FANTASTIC piece on the front 7 schemes Nebraska and Bo Pelini runs right here.
The mothership took a look at Bo's quote about Nebraska and a lot of schools in the SEC "wishing they could be Nebraska". The stats don't really lie.
JUCO DT Abu Lamin finally got his visit into Lincoln last week, He seemed to be impressed.

However, according to Lamin, Nebraska finished the weekend 4th on his list, after South Carolina, Alabama and Arkansas. Meanwhile, it was reported that OL target Frank Ragnow was going to visit Lincoln this weekend, but reports say he never made it.
Former Husker verbal Jason Hall finished his full flip from Nebraska to Texas, as we all thought he would.
Speaking of recruiting rankings, Nebraska is 42nd nationally and 7th in the B1G on Rivals. On the 247 network, the Huskers rank at 48th (YO) nationally and 8th in the B1G.
Nebrasketball and Tim Miles may not ever get to where they wanna go, but it's not because of a lack of effort:
Been on the road 16 of the past 18 days & took 22 flights to 11 cities in 3 countries. Next stop...Lincoln, can't wait to see my family!

And this is with a son at home battling leukemia.
BHGP had some harsh grades for the coaches at B1G Media Days.
Yes, Johnny Manziel was seen on Texas' campus.Let your unnecessary rage at someone begin.
The Pac-12 had their media days last Friday, and the two big things you should take from it is that the conference is limiting how much contact players receive during the week, as well as their continuous troll of DirecTv.
Go to CougCenter this morning and help kick cancer's ass again, please.
Today's birthdays include Tim Gunn, Martina McBride, Stephen Dorff, and Josh Radnor.
Today is also National Lasagne Day as well as National Cheese Sacrifice Purchase Day.
Your Monday tunes? I may have had this one on before, but I can't remember. So when in doubt, you get it again.
(thanks AngelInNewYork)
Be watching in the next couple of days for SBN's Bill Connelly and his Nebraska preview. We will make sure you don't miss it.
Enjoy Monday.
