Hope you all had a great Memorial Day weekend. We kept it pretty slow after a hard weekend in Nebraska sports. Here's what you may have missed (* = may need subscription to read).

The Women's Softball team defeated Oregon 2 games to 1 in Eugene to head to their seventh Women's College World Series. They begin play Thursday in Oklahoma City versus Washington at noon.

Darin Erstad's boys finished one game short of the NCAA Tournament as they lost to Indiana on Sunday at Target Field in Minneapolis. Jon was there for the highs and the lows of the weekend.

There is talent in Nebraska this recruiting cycle. And other schools have noticed what's in the Cornhusker State this year.

Bo Pelini talked with Tim Brando on Friday about Jack Hoffman, the B1G scheduling guidelines, and of course the team.

Steve Sipple says Craig Bohl is making his mark recruiting Nebraska *

Michigan snagged the #2 overall player in America by securing the commitment of CB Jabrill Peppers.

LGHL put the Big 10 and Arrested Development together. I have never seen the show (DON'T JUDGE) so someone in the comments will have to help out here.

At BHGP, they mourn the loss of longtime Iowa announcer Jim Zabel, while they canned Head Baseball Coach Jack Dahm (and listed a ton of excuses that doesn't stop Creighton or Nebraska from being better than them in Baseball, just sayin).

Today is National Hamburger Day, and today marks the anniversary that Major League Baseball allowed the Giants and Dodgers franchises to move west.

The song that was #1 on this day in 1983 was Irene Cara with Flashdance.

Have a great Tuesday everyone.
