2013 Big Ten Baseball Tournament: Once More Into The Breach We Go!

Nebraska needs to win today's games for the season to continue. First, beat and eliminate Ohio State to advance to a game with Indiana. Then, beat Indiana tomorrow and win the Big Ten Championship and automatic qualification to the NCAA tournament.

Probable Starters: Christian DeLeon vs Jaron Long

The winner of this game will advance to take on Indiana in what is the potential championship game.

The loser will be eliminated, and in Nebraska's case, the season will be over. Nebraska cannot get into the NCAA tournament with a record less than .500, and we cannot finish with a record over .500 without winning this tournament.

Erstad played his cards exactly right when he started Ryan Hander over Christian DeLeon against Minnesota. Now DeLeon is available to pitch so this game will feature one weekend starter against another. The game will be decided on whose offense gets the other's bullpen the quickest.

7:05 pm - Nebraska/Ohio State winner vs Indiana

Indiana is the tourney favorite and expected winner. You might not know that talking to someone from Ohio State, but the fact is, the Hoosiers are a very well-rounded team with deep pitching and a damned good offense.

THE GAMES ARE BROADCAST ON BTN and streamed online at BTN2GO.COM.
