The 2013 Big Ten Baseball Tourney starts today with game one and two being broadcast on BTN starting at 12:05 pm. The games are being played at Target Field in Minneapolis, home of the Minnesota Twins.

All games of the tournament will be available on BTN or streamed on BTN2GO.com.

Game One: #4 Minnesota vs #5 Illinois - 12:05 p.m.
Probable Starters:LHP Tom Windle (6-4) vs LHP Kevin Duchene (8-1)

Game Two: #3 Nebraska vs #6 Michigan - 3:35 p.m.
Probable Starters: LHP Kyle Kubat (4-0) vs. RHP James Bourque (5-6)

These two pairs of teams just got done playing each other in the final series of the season, with the lower seeded teams winning the series.

While Nebraska has a decent RPI (45 at Boydsworld.com), they remain under .500 on the season at 25-28. Surprises are possible, but it is certain that in order for Nebraska to be eligible for a surprise at-large bid, they have to win today's game. Otherwise, they will need to win the Big Ten tourney and get the automatic qualification. That is difficult, but doable dependent upon how Nebraska's erratic bullpen does in today's and tomorrow's games.
