Across the walkway, the Husker baseball team was wimpering in it's season finale. At Bowlin Stadium, the Husker softball squad was handling the Stanford Cardinal, advancing to the regional final Sunday. The Huskers led the whole way but used a big sixth inning to pull away, winning 7-1.
