Husker hurler Christian DeLeon threw a great game, going 8 innings, giving up six hits, no walks and striking out five. He gave up two solo home runs to the Buckeyes, their only runs of the game.

Rich Sanguinetti (known as Sangria here at CN) and Blake Headley had three hits apiece, while Kash Kalkowski was 2-for-4 with two doubles and four RBIs.

Today, Nebraska looks to take the series.

Michigan State knocked off Indiana 2-1 in 11 innings yesterday, so as of today, Nebraska and Indiana are tied for the lead in the Big Ten.
