The 6'3" 265-pound Mixon is rated as the No. 41 defensive tackle in the nation by the 247Composite Index, but will be starting out at defensive end for Nebraska. He is the third commit at the position for Nebraska this class with AJ Natter and Ernest Suttles

With the Huskers' newest commitment, they sit at 25 for the class. The clock continues to tick towards National Signing Day and it appears that Nebraska's best recruiters are hitting the pavement hard to make sure the 2013 recruiting cycle ends strong.
