We had an idea this one was coming, and it was just a matter of time.
On November 24th, this came down the line:
Pflugerville (Texas) Hendrickson DB Chance Waz (@SupermanEra_3) tells me he has officially decommitted from Colorado. #CUBuffs #Huskers
— Nate Clouse (@NateClouse) November 25, 2013
Come to today, where it's official now:
Pflugerville (Texas) Hendrickson DB Chance Waz (@SupermanEra_3) has committed to the #Huskers per @RivalsJason ($) http://t.co/HNGaorvaGw
— Nate Clouse (@NateClouse) December 1, 2013
Waz, who is a decent three star from the Austin area, is the team mate of Husker Cornerback verbal Trai Mosley. This is not only a needed Safety verbal for the Huskers, but it also serves as a hopeul guarantee of Mosley not wavering on his Nebraska commitment. Schools like Baylor and Oklahoma have come knocking hard on Mosley's door after he gave his verbal to Nebraska.
(thanks hhorne on Youtube).
With the verbal of Chance Waz, Nebraska moves up to a current 247 ranking of 39th in America, while staying 6th in the Big Ten with their now 16 commits.
Keep it here to Corn Nation as we get down to the final 2 months of the 2014 recruiting cycle, as we will have your verbals and extra tidbits. Also, don't forget that SBNation has an excellent recruiting section here that you can get your FREE fix on.
