Nebraska started their morning with a pair of explosions, picking up two more commits to the 2014 class and bringing their total to fifteen total commits.

The first pickup, reported earlier this morning:
Just received this text from Robert Lockhart: "Just committed to University of Nebraska." #Huskers http://t.co/lnAjQ7uVzp
— Mike Schaefer (@mikejschaefer) November 16, 2013
This four star WR started his college career at Miami in 2012, but an ACL injury resulted in his transfer to Hinds Community College (Mississippi). He also held offers from Ole Miss and Florida International. He will have three seasons to play two. WR Coach Rich Fisher was his lead recruiter.
A highlight video to chew on! (It's a little dated, but I couldn't find a more recent video.)
The second pickup followed shortly after:
#Nebraska has landed a commitment from Louisiana LB Jaevon Walton. He confirmed in a text message to me. #Huskers
— Josh Harvey (@JoshHarveyFOX) November 16, 2013
Walton is currently a senior at Edna Karr High School in New Orleans and was, until this morning, committed to Louisiana-Lafayette. He also holds offers from Missouri and Southern Miss. Something worth keeping an eye on, however: he has attended camp at LSU but holds no offer from them.
Walton wants a shot with LSU: Jaevon Walton is another name on the Edna Karr roster with connections to LSU. T... http://t.co/w2JMXLHRvi

It's possible that an offer from LSU may cause him to waiver on his commitment. (We've seen it happen before.) That being said, it's his decision and for the moment at least, he'll be wearing the scarlet and cream next fall. Terry Joseph was his lead recruiter.
And a highlight video to get you excited!
Both players were official visitors for the Northwestern game. Just goes to show, Nebraska's greatest recruiting tool is getting these kids on campus so they can see the environment they'll be playing in. With a healthy group of recruits being at today's game, it's possible we'll be reporting more explosions next week.
As far the national recruiting pictures go, today's commitments raise Nebraska six spots from 49th to 43rd over at 247Sports.
