Michigan State comes to Lincoln with an 8-1 overall record, including a perfect 5-0 mark in Big Ten action. MSU enters Saturday's matchup ranked 14th in the AP poll, 16th by the coaches and 16th in the latest BCS Standings. The Spartans only setback this season was a 17-13 loss at Notre Dame on Sept. 21.

Nebraska is right behind Michigan State in the West Division at 4-1. The winner of this game will have the inside track to the Big Ten title game.
