You Can Be Mad at Bo. But Don’t Stop There. - Tunnel Walk of Shame

You Can Be Mad at Bo. But Don’t Stop There. Maybe you do fire Bo Pelini. Really. I’m not being sarcastic here. This under-performing program is at an incredibly frustrating, stagnant place.

I thought this was a great piece. Read it and see what you think.

Hail Varsity Magazine – The Voice of Husker Nation: Abdullah, Martinez sit out Tues. practice

We need Abdulla more than we need Martinez especially if Taylor is less than 100% anyway.

With meat of schedule to come, Huskers’ Bo Pelini works to fix problems on both sides of ball - The Washington Post

Brady Hoke of Michigan, Bo Pelini of Nebraska need strong finish - ESPN

Remember Pelini’s "win out" mantra after last year’s Ohio State loss? It’s time to bring that back for the Huskers. If they manage to sweep the rest of their games, they’ll win the Legends Division and get back to Indianapolis for the Big Ten championship tilt. But that’s looking increasingly unlikely, especially after Nebraska was pushed around by Minnesota last week in as dispiriting a loss as Pelini has had during his tenure. It sure didn’t help him that, as colleague Mitch Sherman noted, several high-profile boosters made the trip to Minneapolis to see that performance.

And so it looks like the team needs to rally again.

Big Ten college football awards race tracker: Week 10 - ESPN

3. Nebraska RB Ameer Abdullah (LW: 2): Abdullah showed he is Nebraska's best player in the Huskers' loss at Minnesota last week. He ran 19 times for 165 yards while shaking off an early injury. Abdullah is averaging 172 rushing yards per game in conference play.

Third this week in Offensive Player of the Year for the B10.

Father of Illinois QB Nathan Scheelhaase banned from campus - ESPN Chicago

Illinois quarterback Nathan Scheelhaase's father has been banned from campus for a year after his arrest over an altercation at Saturday's football game, university police said Tuesday.

Just sad.

Alright lets finish on this-

If you've spent any time on Facebook in the past day or so, you may be wondering: What's up with all the giraffes?

Photos of the spindly, long-necked animals are the byproduct of a meme that's been sweeping the social network in recent days. The meme invites users to share a riddle with their friends, who then are supposed to send a private message with the answer (don't post it in the comments, obviously). Any user who guesses wrong must agree to change his or her profile photo with one of a giraffe. Why a giraffe? It's not clear.

The riddle goes like this: 3:00 am, the doorbell rings and you wake up. Unexpected visitors. It's your parents and they are there for breakfast. You have strawberry jam, honey, wine, bread and cheese. What is the first thing you open?
