Nebraska leads Purdue 21-0 at the half.

Nebraska leads Purdue 21-0 at the half as the Huskers have scored three touchdowns in a rather flat, lethargic game so far by both teams.

Nebraska has played two quarterbacks. Tommy Armstrong Jr is 6-for-11 for 41 yards and a touchdown in the first half while Ron Kellogg III is 5-for-7 for 70 yards. Armstrong added a touchdown, the first touchdown on the ground for the season for a Nebraska quarterback. Ameer Abdullah has eight carries for 54 yards and a touchdown while Imani Cross has had nine carries for 41 yards and a touchdown.

Purdue starter Danny Etling has struggled early, going 8-for-14 for 52 yards and an interception. Akeem Hunt has five carries for 17 yards.

Purdue has 87 total yards in the first half, while Nebraska has 205.

Husker cornerback Stanley Jean-Baptiste was ejected in the first half for a personal foul targeting penalty.

Purdue never crossed midfield in the first half.
