Nebraska vs. Purdue: The GAME THREAD OF REVENGE!

New, comments

Nebraska takes on Purdue today to revenge our only loss against the Boilermakers!!!!

Eric Francis

This is the Nebraska vs Purdue GAME THREAD OF REVENGE!

IT'S NOT ENOUGH THAT NEBRASKA LOST THE ONLY GAME WE'VE EVER PLAYED AGAINST PURDUE, WE DIDN'T EVEN SCORE A POINT!

First, we score. Then we score again. Then, we keep scoring until Purdue hurts so badly blood spurts from their eyeballs like a ripe tomato being squashed by a two-year old toddler.

Date/Time: Saturday, October 12th, 11:00 a.m. CT

Location: West Layafette Indiana
Stadium: Ross-Ade Stadium

Surface: Natural Grass

Capacity: 62,500
Series Record: Purdue leads 1-0
Last Meeting: Purdue won 28-0, 1958

TV: BTN
Online: BTN2GO

Announcers: Kevin Kugler, Chuck Long, J Leman

Radio: Huskers sports radio network

Weather: Partly cloudy early. Scattered thunderstorms developing in the afternoon. High 79F. Winds S at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of rain 40%.

Odds: Nebraska by 14.5

This should be a road game only in the fact that it's in another state and the field is natural grass as opposed to the field turf Nebraska is accustomed to. The stands should be filled with Husker fans as we invade another stadium.

Tommy Armstrong Jr gets the start. Let's look for Ameer Abdullah to shred Purdue on the ground, while Quincy Enunwa and Kenny Bell put on a show through the passing game. Jamal Turner has a hamstring injury, so we may not see him today.

And of course we want to see continued improvement from the defense in the form of ZERO big plays by Purdue.

GO BIG RED!!!!
