Nebrasketball Twittereaction

How about three Nebrasketball posts on the day? Won't get that very often, especially in the month leading up to the start of football season particularly now that camp has opened, but this isn't your normal day in the world of Nebraska basketball. You'd be hard pressed to find another day when Nebraska has had as much recruiting buzz as it's picked up the past 12 hours and just like football (or any other sport), nothing here is guaranteed, a lot can happen. But twitter gave us a fair amount of reaction to these happenings. Here's a quick round-up. It should not be considered exhaustive.

Great day to be a Husker!!! !

I've confirmed that Nick Fuller has committed to # Nebrasketball. First 2013 commit for Tim Miles.

Interesting tidbit re: Nick Fuller - was on campus with him and TX guard Nathan Hawkins showing them around.

got a steal in Sun Prairie (Wis.) SF Nick Fuller. Really liked him, especially towards the end of summer.

Nick Fuller became the first player in the Class of 2013 to commit to Nebraska and Tim Miles. He was a top target for the Huskers

2013 Nebraska commit Nick Fuller played every position from 1-5 this summer according to his AAU coach:

Make it 2-for-2: gets its second commit of day in 2013 PG Nathan Hawkins. Huge day for

Wow, big day for . Just confirmed that Nate Hawkins, 6-5 shooting guard, has also committed to Huskers.

Shout-out to on his commitment to..Nathan put in some major work this summer!!

Hawkins averaged 12.9 points and shot 46.8 percent from floor last season at Rowlett High. Okla State, K-State among his other offers.

Guys, these are two very good gets for . Both classify as total steals for a staff that's only been on the job a few months.

getting two commits in one day might have made this the best day in program history. continues to do work.

Hawkins on Agau: "He hasn’t made any decisions yet, but I’m hoping I can get him down here to join the team. That’s my new job."

Nathan Hawkins said Miles wants him to be "a scoring and creating point guard." Assistant Craig Smith first began recruiting him at CSU.

Wow!!! It's still a great day to be a Husker!

hoops nabs two big guards in one day. Tim Miles is ecstatic. Question: Has hoops recruiting EVER been followed so closely?

Sounds like had a good day. Certainly better than another Coach Miles down south had. A lil mo for Husker hoops!

Impressed after a conversation with Nate Hawkins, NU's second hoops recruit. Kid knows what he wants in a program.

I think Nick Fuller is the better prospect right now, though.

First look at Nick Fuller. Reminds me a little bit of a young, left-handed version of Eric Piatkowski.

Tim Miles already getting it done at Nebraska! Nathan Hawkins (Dallas Mustangs) & Nick Fuller (Wisconsin Swing). Both can go!

Hawkins: "It's mine and Nick's job to go full out recruiting mode on"
