Jake Sorensen and Will Grubb recap Nebraska's 64-42 loss to in-state rival Creighton in men's basketball at the Bob Devaney Sports Center in Lincoln.

The loss was disappointing to Cornhusker fans who were excited by the team's early success and were expecting the team to compete and possibly upset the mid-major Creighton Blue Jays. The good news is that Husker fans have been brought back to earth a bit, with the understanding that this is still a rebuilding year for first-year coach Tim Miles and a Husker basketball squad that has only six scholarship players on the court this season.

The guys point out as one bright point for Tim Miles team that they never stopped fighting nor never stopped playing throughout the game even though being clearly down late in the second half.

The loss was the first for a home team in the series since 2004 in Lincoln.
