Dominic Walker, Wide Receiver From Florida, Commits To Nebraska

The 3 star from Florida chooses the Huskers over Florida State, Cincinnati and Butch Jones

While he is not a defensive end, Nebraska recruiting gets a jolt they needed.

(Thanks to Taylor Hamm of HI for 24/7sports, who is interviewing Walker in the video)

Walker, who is a 3 star Wide Receiver was previously committed to Vanderbilt but opened the process back up in October. There was talk that Cincinnati could have gotten Walker, who was so fond of Butch Jones that he considered Tennessee again. But, in the end, Nebraska gets his services.

Word is that Dominic (6'2", 195) is just tearing up all the DB's in Houston at the O/D All American Bowl. The way that Rich Fischer has developed players like Kenny Bell, Jamal Turner, Quincy Enunwa and even earlier in the season players like Taariq Allen and Tyler Wullenwaber, Nebraska will be able to use Walker in may aspects.

Of course, seeing that both Allen and Wullenwaber are coming off pretty significant leg injuries this season (bad enough to get Brion Carnes to move over), a position that was once the deepest on the whole team (and still fairly is by all accounts) could use all the help they can get.
