The Big Ten Wants Your Feedback On Division Alignment!

USA TODAY Sports

The Big Ten Network is listening to you! They want your input on how the divisions should be aligned after newcomers Maryland and Rutgers join the conference.

You can vote to keep the status quo, which doesn't include keeping Rutgers and Maryland out of the conference. (It doesn't throw Nebraska out of the conference either for that matter.) Status quo means mostly keeping the divisions as they are and then making little bitty movements, adding Maryland and/or Rutgers to one existing division or another.

Option 2 is East/West. Hey, that's a novel idea!

Option 3 is Inner/Outer, where teams on the outer rim of the Big Ten are in one division, and those on the inner rim would be in the other.

Two thoughts on this. First, this sounds like BTN is trolling. Second, does this mean if we're in the outer rim we own the whole rest of the world, because if it does, then I'm all for it. WORLD DOMINATION, YO!

Note this from the BTN survey piece: Results will be forwarded to the Big Ten Conference office.

DON'T KID YOURSELF THAT THE BIG TEN CONFERENCE OR JIM DELANY WANTS TO HEAR FROM YOU.

The Big Ten could give two flying shits about what you want or what you think. If'n they did, they would have changed the division names after their first release last year when they were universally hated.

Still, hey, go vote, and then tell us how you voted and why.

This is the future of your conference. You need to take it seriously!

/No you don't.
