MOBILE QUARTERBACK! EAREGGGGHHH!!!!!!
I know that's what's going through your mind, all day, every day this week.
I asked our group, our CN guys how the heck we're going to accomplish this, and here's some of what they had to say:
Put in cheat codes. Bump up Compton and Whaley's speed rating to 99. IRL...realistically...David Santos and/or Ciante Evans spying him maybe?
Hell, I dunno, watch Sparty & Domer's film & do what they did.
Play a ton in the box, go man to man outside with 1 high safety and pray the pass D has a good day? Can't see the "normal" scheme doing well, especially if they run Denard. And when in doubt, just outscore em.
Rich Kaczenski's D Line never lost to Denard when he was at Iowa. Maybe he has something to add here?
Free Runzas to the Michigan team hotel.
HIT HIM...........HARD
I think I like the last one best. Of course, to him him, you have to get a hand on him. I also like the concept of "outscoring them", but that will leave perfection-oriented Husker fans unhappy even with a win.
What do you have?
And now, here's a bunch of stuff to read:
Michigan defense charting same path as last year, and maybe doing it a little better | MLive.com
No. 20 Michigan (5-2, 3-0) enters Saturday's game at Nebraska (5-2, 2-1) featuring one of the hottest defenses in the country. It hasn't allowed 14 points since the second week of the season, and has allowed a Big Ten-low 23 points in league games.
Michigan ready to experience Nebraska's famed 'Sea of Red' | MLive.com
"They don't have anything down there but their college football," Campbell said. "It's going to be exciting."
Oh, don't you get tired of hearing this kind of crap? We have beer and deer and tractors, just like they do. Maybe not as many chain saws, though.
"You can't spend all of your time worrying about Denard Robinson," Papuchis said. "But at the end of the day, he is 68.2 percent of their total offense."
Who else should we be worrying about?
Michigan's surging defense to butt heads with Nebraska's league-best offense | MLive.com
Two juggernauts headed for a collision.
Wolverines Issue of the Week: Has Michigan finally solved its road-game blues? | MLive.com
But, with no offense to the folks in West Lafayette, Ind., Ross-Ade Stadium is hardly an intimidating venue. The last three times Michigan has faced raucous crowds for true road games -- it went home with a loss.
WooohoO!!!! #teamsunshine with a really loud voice!
U-M's next opponent: Nebraska WR Taariq Allen looks to do more | Michigan Wolverines | Detroit Free Press | freep.com
Taariq Allen introduced himself to Nebraska fans in a big way with a leaping touchdown catch that started the Cornhuskers’ fourth-quarter rally against Northwestern.
Just before the football landed in his arms, the Husker I-Back took his eyes off it, letting the ball slide through his hands. Northwestern recovered the muffed punt 14 yards away from the end zone.
More #teamsunshine news - our special teams debacle has already happened! No way that can happen again!
Huskers’ jack-of-all-trades Meredith helped with win against Northwestern - Daily Nebraskan
Nebraska turned to its jack-of-all-trades, Cameron Meredith, when it needed a playmaker to fill a huge void on the defensive line on Saturday.
Lake The Posts :: Ask Not What NU Can Do For You, But What You Can Do As A Fan….
A passionate Northwestern fan frustrated with those that are not. I can only imagine what this would be like. Or I can think of Husker basketball.
