2011 College Football Coaches Ranking: Nebraska Starts 11th

The 2011 preseason coaches poll has been released today, and Nebraska will start the season ranked 11th, second in the Big Ten behind the tenth-ranked Wisconsin Badgers, pretty much a sign that the coaches expect Wisconsin to win the B1G with Nebraska falling short in the title game.

Comments on the rest:

I've been putting together a preseason blogpoll, and I would rank Oklahoma ahead of Alabama at the top spot for the sole reason that Oklahoma's path to the BCS National Title game has been made so much easier by the elimination of the Big 12 title game.

In the Top Ten, the two teams I believe are overrated are Stanford (Andrew Luck is back... big deal, although... someone has to finish second in the Pac-12 don't they?) and Oklahoma State (Brandon Weeden and Justin Blackmon, but no Dana Holgersen).

And because coaches can't help themselves, they rank Notre Dame and Texas. Do they deserve it?

USC is still on probation and not eligible for ranking.

Full poll is after the jump.
