Now comes a visit to No. 13 Virginia Tech. The Huskers have lost nine consecutive games to ranked opponents, 11 straight to top-20 teams. As with the Big Ten, this is Nebraska’s national yardstick game. In fact, the whole Big 12 North could use this one.

After two games, 14 different players pulling in at least one reception against Arkansas State and NU quarterback Zac Lee playing above coach expectations in terms of accuracy, the NU wideouts think they finally have it. It, of course, is respect.
They can earn more respect by playing well in a hostile road environment.
